OK it's time for the second owl giveaway for a no strings attached, handmade, very cute, jawjee original, OOAK glass owl.
Rules are the same as before... I will post like this with images showing the front, back, and hand size reference so you can see which owl is up for giving away. All you need to do is comment! it is that easy. I will then draw out a user's name on Saturday 21st November, post up the winner and we'll communicate so that you can receive your new little friend.
A lot of people out there like owls, you're bound to know someone who would like one. They are often used as symbols of wisdom, so maybe they would make a cute little graduation gift. I have others up for auction on ebay.
This week's owl is Constantinople, he has the owl constellation on his tummy and inside it too! There are some gold bubbles that can be seen through his window-like front. I made C out of Triton, a reduction glass from Double Helix, and it has turned shades of blue as well as breaking into iridescent streaky cream striations (let's call them space clouds) . His ears are Mystic Grey, a translucent grey glass and his eyes are wonderful multi-hued nebulae.

Oh, those eyes.....
Oh, very special. What a gorgeous owl.
Oh my! What a gorgeous owl. Owls are such wonderous birds.
Ooh, I'm so excited to be given a chance to win this gorgeous owl! Constantinople is a very fitting name, if I win him I will wear him always. And costently have to fend off my sister who will want to steal him!!!
My grandmother collected owls and when she passed away I got to pick out a white owl statue I keep it in my china hutch.
I found a story about owls:
The Owl was associated with the Greek goddess Pallas Athena. Soldiers have held the Owl as a special bird because it stays awake at night, which is the hardest time for soldiers to stay awake.
Some Native Americans see the Owl as the symbol of the soul.
I like this as my hubby is Airforce and our youngest daughter age 3 is Athena.
If I won the owl I would go to my local bead shop and make a necklace to wear:)
The owl reminds me of my grandmother she was always looking out for me thankyou for this lovely and generous giveaway.Hugs Darcy

He is amazing! My wife loves owls, she just started collecting them - her first owl is an old ceramic lamp. She even has two owls tattooed on her feet!
I'd be so happy if I won this little guy, it would make a wonderful early Christmas present for my wife :)
Oh, I so adore ALL of your owl beads! They are truly lovely creations. I'm on a mission to collect some very special owls of my own. Hope to start here! I love LOVE LOVE them!
I live in New York City, in West Chelsea, a major art gallery district. Chelsea is an art-friendly area in general, and an owl-friendly place also, so it would be perfect for someone who is both an owl and a small work of art. He'd like it here I'm sure.
